How Many Elf Bar Devices Are There?

Although the Elf Bar 600 is their brand’s most prominent device, it’s far from the only vape kit in their catalogue. In fact, aside from the 8 Elf Bar models you can find on UK shelves, Elf Bar have released a further 21 devices which are only available overseas.

The reason why certain devices aren’t available to buy or sell in the UK is due to TPD guidelines. TPD, which stands for Tobacco Products Directive, is an initiative that regulates tobacco and nicotine products and ultimately decides what we can and can’t buy.

But to put it simply; TPD-compliant vape devices are usually smaller, hold less e-liquid and have a shorter battery life than non-TPD compliant devices. This is because regulations in the UK limit the capacity of disposable vapes to 2ml and 20mg/ml of nicotine.

Is Elf Bar Illegal?

No, the Elf Bar brand isn’t illegal. Elf Bar is considered to be a reputable vaping company, and as such, is subject to stringent testing and high criteria to ensure they meet the correct standards to be sold to consumers.

Of course, as we mentioned above, not every Elf Bar product is considered legal in the UK due to TPD guidelines. Although these products are safe and sold elsewhere around the world, they don’t comply with UK regulations and therefore are illegal to buy and sell in this country.

Is Elf Bar Being Banned?

In short— no, Elf Bar is not being banned. The brand itself is arguably the most successful vaping company worldwide, and we don’t see them going anywhere anytime soon.

Nevertheless, some of their products have recently been recalled from UK shelves due to a breach of TPD guidelines. You may recall back in February of this year, Elf Bar hit the tabloid headlines after some of their disposable devices were being sold in certain supermarkets despite exceeding the TPD maximum requirements. While this isn’t considered dangerous to the consumer, after the news broke, the brand decided to voluntarily remove the affected products from shelves and alter the battery life of their newer products to prevent a similar situation from occurring in future.

How To Use An Elf Bar Vape

If you’ve never used an Elf Bar vape before, not to worry, I’ve got you covered. Elf Bars are extremely easy to use and don’t require any prior knowledge to get started.

Here’s a quick tutorial on how to use your new Elf Bar disposable vape:

1. Begin by scanning the QR code on the side of your Elf Bar box to verify its authenticity.

2. Open the box, unseal the foil wallet and take out your device.

3. Peel back the airflow sticker from the device's base and detach the silicone plug from the mouthpiece.

4. Slowly inhale on the mouthpiece to activate your Elf Bar. As you breathe in, you should see a light illuminate at the base of the device.

5. Use your Elf Bar until the battery is depleted. When the blue light begins to flash every time you inhale, your device is completely empty.
